The company owns intellectual property to a unique biodegradable composite that is made of natural and reconstructed fibres. SeNevens is using this technology in its flagship product Safeties Nature Nappy which combines all the popular elements of a traditional disposable nappy with additional comfort and health benefits. This fibre construction also has applications in the wipes, incontinence and sanitary protection sectors.

BY ORDER OF THE FEDERAL COURT OF AUSTRALIA

Following legal action by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, the Federal Court has declared that SeNevens International Ltd engaged in conduct that was misleading or deceptive or likely to mislead or deceive in promoting Safeties Nature Nappy and nappy disposal bags as 100% biodegradable, in contravention of sections 52 and 53 of the Trade Practices Act 1974.
